RECYCLE PROGRAM

Inkjet and laser toner cartridges are an ever-growing problem for landfills. The vast majority of them are thrown away after only one use, when in fact, they can be recycled and reused multiple times over.

At Cartridge World, we have a program that allows an organization to raise funds by collecting empty printer cartridges. Our recycle program is simple and requires very little to no work by your organization or staff. We will provide your entity (club, church, business, school) with a recycle bin, and as awareness grows, empty cartridges are collected and placed in the bin. We will then set up a scheduled date and time that we can visit you and check the bin for empty cartridges. Most of the time, we schedule stops on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

After taking the empty cartridges back to our store and evaluating them, we will record what you donated to the recycle program and figure the dollar amount that we owe your group. In most cases, you will earn between $1.00 and $2.00 per ink cartridge and up to $5.00 per laser toner cartridge. All payments will be made on a monthly basis. The organization, department, or charity that the money supports is completely up to your entity.

Advertising the "Cash for Cartridges Recycle Program" as a fundraiser is a great way to collect a large volume of cartridges. We would be happy to work with you on putting together literature that describes the program and what it will be specifically supporting. The type of advertising that you desire for this program is completely up to you. It could be as simple as a poster set out next to the bin, or as sophisticated as a mass letter sent to a strategic people group. We have some great materials and facts to build a message around, and would love to share them with you. We are very flexible and open to any new ideas - please share them with us!
